Saturday, January 9, ’10 (At Sea)

This morning, Amanda and I wake up at 9:45 and go to breakfast. As we were walkin up the stairs, Amanda starts to say “I wish we would run into Mom and Dad again.” Well as soon as we get to the top of the stairs, we see Mom waiting for the elevator and Dad in the restroom. We start crackin up! But what was even funnier than that was I opened the first box of Frosted Flakes just fine. When I TRY to open the second box, it EXPLODES ALL OVER THE TABLE!!! Amanda’s face was like “OMG! WHAT did you do?” I couldn’t believe it happened and even the waiter was crackin up too! So after we have breakfast, we come back to the room, so we could get ready for the day. Then at about 11, we go to play some Bingo! After that, while Amanda, Mom and Dad are deciding on which photos to keep, I go out on deck, and go see what the prices are for the Sanctuary were. All they do is relax in a quiet place. So I didn’t want to spend $40 on my parents, when they can relax FOR FREE anytime, anywhere they choose. I walk back down and meet them in the Photo Gallery. Then Amanda and I go find us a seat so we could watch the Ice Sculpturing Demonstration at 1. These 2 guys made a dolphin and Angel Fish out of ICE!! I got some good pictures of both! After that, we went to the other side, where they have the big screen, and watch the movie Up. I fell asleep for a little bit. After the movie was over at 3, Amanda and I meet Mom and Dad for our LAST CHANCE to win $2,000 in Bingo. These 2 hott girls won the jackpot! After Bingo, I walk 16 flights of stairs and go get some pizza to tide me over till dinner. The elevators were running slow with people comin out of the Bingo room in Club Fusion. Then we all came back to the room and started packing. After I got caught up in my journal, I went up on deck, to see what the weather was doin. It was pretty cold! Came back to the room, and took a shower to get ready for the evening. At 6:40, we went to the farewell Show with comedians Phil Tag and Kevin Hughes. THEY WERE HILARIOUS!!! After the show, I ended up gettin the Phil Tag DVD for $20, when it was $25. He gave me a discount to change my mind, and he also autographed it too, which is cool, because he has been on the Jay Leno Show and Comedy Central. We had 25mins to spare before dinner, so we (secretly) went in the casino for a bit and played a few games WITH MOM AND DAD!! Then we went on dinner like usual. I had spaghetti! We hung around for a bit until everybody was nearly finished. Right before, they brought out some kind of dessert for Amanda, cuz Mom told them it was her “birthday.” I look at her and say “That should’ve been mine” and our waiter hears me and says “It’s your birthday too?” I tell him “Next week!” They sang Happy Birthday to us, and got people’s attention. It was funny! We stayed to see The Baked Alaska Parade, where the chefs cooking staff would parade around the dining room with this dessert and then bring it to you. Shortly after they finished the dessert, they met me downstairs at the Internet Café so we could straighten out our bill and print our boarding passes for tomorrow. Then when we got back to the room, we hit the sack because we knew we had to get up at 6:30am this morning.
